Relevance of the program:

Nowadays additive technologies are developing very rapidly. As a consequence, urgent need to train such specialists as developers and designers of 3D models for different spheres (medicine, building, machinery engineering and others) will arise very soon. These specialists are responsible for processes of computer 3D scanning, 3D modelling, materials selection, 3D printing and technology of customized production

IEP goals:

  • to provide scientific-research training of master students in the sphere of modern material sciences for designing materials of medical purpose, study of their properties, development of their production technology; constructing materials with intended properties on the basis of additive technologies (computer technology 3D).
  • to provide practice-oriented training of graduates in the sphere of innovation methods development for creation and processing of biocompatible materials and products; to master methods of producing items through layer-by-layer synthesis (or layer growth of items) with the use of digital 3D model.
  • to train graduates for organizational and management activities under conditions of effective functioning of modern methods.
  • to create conditions for non-stop professional self-improvement, development of their social and personal characteristics (purposefulness, self-discipline, diligence, interpersonal skill, team spirit, responsibility for final result peculiar of professional activity, civil responsibility, tolerance tolerance), social mobility and competitiveness on the labor market.
