EKTU was the first to implement the ISO 37001:2016 anti-corruption management system

Corruption is a systemic threat to the security of Kazakhstan, threatening the stability, prosperity and dynamic development of the country.

According to the Anti-Corruption legislation, all state bodies and officials are obliged to fight this "disease of society" within their competence.

On the eve of the New Year, our university has reached a new qualitative level of leaders in engineering education.

At the East Kazakhstan Technical University after D. Serikbayev, the first among the universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, introduced anti-corruption management systems conforming to the international standard ISO 37001:2016.

The international certification for compliance of the anti-corruption management system with the requirements of ISO 37001:2016 has been successfully passed.

The implementation of this standard shows the university's commitment to the anti-corruption policy and ensures the implementation of uniform international standards to ensure academic integrity, scientific ethics, combating everyday corruption and the formation of a culture of zero tolerance for corruption.

The certificate is valid for ALL types of activities: providing educational services in the field of higher and postgraduate education, conducting scientific research and production activities, implementing professional development programs.

Our entire university community, a team of university staff, compliance service headed by the Commissioner for Ethics and Anti-Corruption Rakhmetullina S.Zh., successfully fulfilled the goals and objectives in this direction
